Michael George provides a comprehensive range of wealth management services to individuals, families, and trusts with a specialty in inter-generational wealth transfer. Over the years, Michael has developed close relationships with his clients that enable him to meet each client’s specific and individual needs.
Michael brings substantial portfolio management experience to Watts Capital, constructing and managing diversified investment portfolios to address each client’s goals. Michael also leads and coordinates the team of professionals necessary to address the full range of clients’ needs, ranging from financial planning, tax planning, estate planning, and trust administration. Michael’s experience prior to joining Watts Capital includes working for storied Wall Street firms such as L. F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin. Michael began his career working with the U.S. State Department and the Smithsonian Institution.
Michael earned his BA degree in history from Harvard College and his MA degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Michael is a native of New York and an avid patron of the arts including the Metropolitan Opera. He also continues his lifelong love of horses and riding and fits in time for riding on his weekends upstate or in his travels.
